Your stroke.
Your next step.

The session starts with how you swim today and what you want to improve.

Find the right coaching fit
  1. Find the priority.

Start with your goal and a close look at your current technique. Identify a useful change rather than trying to fix everything at once.

  2. Understand it. Try it.

Use questions and clear explanations to work through the “why.” Practice an adjustment with live feedback and notice what changes.

  3. Take it back to training.

Connect the correction to a cue you can use on your own. If more coaching would help, discuss a next step that fits your season.

Looking for video feedback or a workout plan? Mention it in your inquiry. We can discuss whether a separate option fits your goals and what it would cost.

Sprint experience.
Individual attention.

Your coach is Nicholas Imig: a sprint freestyler with seven years of swim-teaching experience and a focus on helping you understand your own swimming.

What happens when I inquire?

Share your current swimming, your goal and your preferred Sunday times. Nicholas will discuss the right coaching format, check lane availability, and give you a quote. There’s no payment or commitment when you inquire.

Is this right for my swimmer?

The main focus is competitive swimmers, roughly age 12 and older, who swim independently and are ready to work on technique. Adults working on their stroke are welcome too. A parent or guardian should submit inquiries for a minor. Adult beginner lessons are a smaller part of the schedule.

Can this work alongside a swim team?

Yes. Private technique coaching can complement your team training. Bring your goals and what your team coach is emphasizing, so the session has that context. Any ongoing coaching is arranged around your needs and actual availability.

When are lessons, and what do they cost?

In-person lessons take place on Sundays at Redmond Pool. The session format and price depend on your goals and are agreed before payment. Times depend on actual lane availability; an inquiry is not a confirmed lesson.

How do cancellations work?

For a confirmed Sunday lesson, cancel by 11:59 p.m. Pacific on the preceding Friday for a full refund. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full lesson price. If a lane cannot be secured, your payment is refunded.

What do you want
from your next race?

A stronger 50. A more efficient 100. A better understanding of your stroke. Start with your goal, and let’s work out the next step.
